Actor and filmmaker R Madhavan expresses joy as his film Rocketry: The Nambi Effect celebrates its third anniversary.

As the anniversary fell on July 1, Madhavan shared his excitement, reflecting on the film’s journey. “When I began writing Rocketry in 2016 and 2017, searching for Nambi Narayanan on Google often brought up negative information about him,” he recalled. “I asked my producer, Vijay, if we could create a film that could influence Google’s algorithm to reflect the truth about Nambi Sir instead. I think we’ve achieved that, and I can hardly believe three years have passed since then.”
For Madhavan, this project was incredibly personal, as he also took on the roles of director and producer. His commitment to the film significantly elevated the recognition of Nambi Narayanan’s substantial contributions to India’s space program.
Released in various languages and celebrated worldwide, Rocketry resonated with audiences through its genuine narrative and emotional depth. The film’s influence was acknowledged when it received the National Award for Best Feature Film at the 69th National Film Awards.
Currently, Madhavan is preparing for the release of his upcoming film, Aap Jaisa Koi. He received praise for his performance in the recent release, Kesari Chapter 2.
