Bollywood stars Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor began their love story on a film set, which eventually led to Saif tattooing her name on his arm. In a recent appearance on Twinkle Khanna’s talk show, he opened up about the details behind this surprising choice.
During a light-hearted discussion with Akshay Kumar, it was revealed that an astrologer had forecasted Saif’s marriage to Kareena. Twinkle chimed in, reminding everyone of Saif’s impulsive decision to get the tattoo, calling it a bit reckless.
Saif explained his motivations, saying, “I wanted a tattoo and decided to get one on my shoulder, but somehow, I ended up with her full name on my arm instead of something more subtle.”
The couple first met in 2008 on the set of *Tashan*, where their friendship blossomed into love. At that time, Kareena was at the peak of her career, while Saif was well-established, raising two children from his previous marriage.
Their romance quickly became a hot topic, especially after Saif showcased his love through the tattoo. After dating for five years, they wed on October 16, 2012, in a private ceremony. The couple now has two sons, Taimur and Jehangir, who frequently capture the public’s attention.
Saif is set to appear in Priyadarshan’s film *Haiwaan*, alongside Akshay Kumar. This project is currently under production, with a release date slated for 2026.
Kareena will star in Meghna Gulzar’s upcoming film *Daayra*, where she will work with Prithviraj Sukumaran. This project marks her 68th film and promises to be a compelling crime-drama thriller.
