The new album is a product of collaboration, featuring the talents of producer and co-writer Jared Adlam alongside renowned country artist Morgan Evans, who helped craft two tracks. Johnston reflects on their creative synergy, stating, “It’s rare to find people really in tune with you. I got to hang out with friends, making it the most enjoyable music-making experience I’ve had.”

### Celebrating Home and Community

True to the spirit of country music, the title track celebrates the love of home and community. Johnston shares, “We penned this song on the back patio, letting the whole neighborhood join in on the fun. Thankfully, I’m close with the neighbors, and they even texted me while we were creating!”

He adds, “I wanted to capture that essence of being out in the countryside. I love dirt bikes, campfire gatherings with friends, and that unbeatable feeling of belonging.”

In conjunction with the album announcement, Johnston is eager to share dates for an Australian tour. Kicking off on August 31st at the Gympie Music Muster in Queensland, he will perform at various venues including Night at the Barracks in Sydney, and Night at the Parkland in Brisbane. The tour will extend through November, wrapping up in Adelaide, Darwin, and Canberra.

Johnston’s debut, *Raised Like That*, achieved remarkable milestones. It was nominated for Best Country Album at the 2024 ARIA Awards, held the top spot on the ARIA Country Music Charts for 26 weeks, received platinum certification, and won two Golden Guitar Awards, racking up over 134 million streams to date.
