Varun Dhawan’s Early Morning Regrets

Wacky Moments on Set

Varun Dhawan recently shared a rather amusing story from the set of Jug Jugg Jeeyo, reminiscing about a peculiar day when he and Maniesh Paul started drinking at 7 am. This incident took place while filming a pivotal scene in 2022. By 2 pm, both actors realized they were slurring and struggling with their lines.

Varun Dhawan will next be seen in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari.

Behind the Scenes Details

Reflecting on the experience, Varun mentioned, “During that climax scene with Anil sir, we had to act drunk while renewing their vows. We began our drinks at 7:30 am, and by 2 pm, we could barely talk properly.” This lighthearted moment was born out of the need to step into the characters’ shoes.

Despite needing to sober up afterward, they still didn’t finish the scene that day, leading to another round of drinking on the following shoot day.

Upcoming Projects

Moving forward, Varun is set to star in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, a romantic comedy directed by Shashank Khaitan. The film features Janhvi Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra, and Rohit Saraf, and is scheduled for release on October 2. It promises a mix of comedy and drama as Varun and Janhvi attempt to make their exes jealous at wedding events.

Interestingly, this release coincides with Rishabh Shetty’s Kantara: A Legend – Chapter 1. In a recent #Varunsays session on X, one fan inquired about Varun’s feelings on the competition. He humorously replied, “Release dates are decided by the team. Our focus is on making the film entertaining. I hope everyone is laughing and celebrating on October 2.” Varun’s previous film, Baby John, didn’t perform as well at the box office, adding pressure to deliver a hit this time.
