Synthony Added to Rhythm and Alps Festival Lineup

Exciting Announcement for Rhythm and Alps 2025

Rhythm and Alps has welcomed Synthony into its lineup for 2025, gearing up for its largest event yet. Synthony merges a 60-piece orchestra with DJs and live vocalists, accompanied by stunning visuals that elevate electronic dance music. Attendees can expect to groove to familiar anthems like Corona’s “Rhythm of the Night,” Darude’s “Sandstorm,” and Fisher’s “Losing It.”

Synthony Returns by Popular Demand

Following a highly acclaimed performance in 2023, Synthony’s return in 2025 comes after numerous requests from fans. This dynamic group has transformed from drawing 2,000 attendees to captivating crowds of over 20,000 in just a few years, marking its place as one of Australasia’s standout events.

A Stellar Lineup Awaits

Synthony joins an impressive roster of local and international artists, including UK talents Rudimental, Santigold, and Dizzee Rascal, alongside New Zealand favorites like The Black Seeds, Chaos In The CBD, Halfqueen, Corrella, and Lady Shaka. Organizers are also set to unveil more artists in the weeks leading up to the festival.

The event will be held from December 29 to 31 at Cardrona Valley, conveniently located near Queenstown and Wānaka, anticipating over 10,000 enthusiastic participants.

Campsite Upgrades and Limited Capacity

The festival’s Campers’ Night returns on December 29, featuring an enhanced premium camping experience and exclusive performances. Note that tickets for this special night are limited to 1,000. Festival-goers can look forward to three memorable days of music set against breathtaking mountain scenery.

Upcoming Changes in New Zealand Festivals

In related news, another notable festival in New Zealand, known as Northern Bass, is rebranding to JNGL25 for 2025. This event has transitioned from a three-day festival to a focused two-day experience on the Jungle Stage. Due to rising production costs and decreased attendance last year, the event will now accommodate about 6,000 attendees, with ticket options designed to make access more affordable.
