The film initially made a splash with ₹9.25 crore on its opening day, but faced a dip in earnings the following day, collecting only ₹5.5 crore. Fortunately, it rebounded on day three.
This film has shown resilience amidst tough competition, particularly from Rishab Shetty’s Kantara Chapter 1, which has grossed over ₹155.19 crore. Nonetheless, it has outperformed other recent films like Mere Husband Ki Biwi ( ₹12.85 crore) and Loveyapa ( ₹8.85 crore).
About Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari
Directed by Shashank Khaitan, this romantic comedy tells the story of Varun and Janhvi’s characters teaming up to make their exes, Sanya and Rohit, jealous. Critics have delivered mixed reviews regarding the film’s pacing and overall impact, though some have praised its comedy and performances.
Produced by Dharma Productions and Mentor Disciple Entertainment, the film features a talented ensemble: Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Rohit Saraf, and Sanya Malhotra, alongside supporting actors like Maniesh Paul, Akshay Oberoi, and Abhinav Sharma. One highlight from a review states, “You wish the film had more spark, but moments like that are few and far between.” Overall, while Varun’s performance stands out, the story feels predictable.
