Kantara Chapter 1 box office performance

According to trade analysts, the film concluded its first week strongly with a collection of ₹337.4 crore (net in India). On its ninth day, the film raked in ₹22.25 crore. The following day, there was a slight uptick, with receipts of ₹37.16 crore, pushing the total earnings to ₹396.81 crore.

The film has outperformed several high-profile releases and now stands close to surpassing Chhaava in domestic earnings. However, on the global front, it still trails behind both Saiyaara and Chhaava, positioning it as the third highest-grossing Indian film of 2025. Despite facing competition from Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, which has grossed only ₹43.35 crore domestically, Kantara Chapter 1 has emerged as the frontrunner.
