Seven Sharp’s Hilary Barry is set to share the spotlight with Oprah Winfrey during her visit to Auckland this December as part of the "Oprah In Conversation" tour.

In a promotional clip, Oprah addressed her Kiwi audience, saying, “Kia ora my Kiwi friends. I am delighted to let you know that I will be joined on stage by the fabulous Hilary Barry for my New Zealand show."
Barry will act as the moderator for this highly anticipated event, marking Oprah’s first visit to New Zealand in over a decade. Winfrey’s tour will also include Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, and Melbourne.

Barry shared her previous experience of meeting Oprah in 2015 at the Oprah Winfrey Network in Los Angeles. She recalls her nervousness from that encounter and anticipates feeling the same when she hosts Winfrey in December.
“There will be a couple of thousand people there, and that adds a level of pressure I’m not used to,” she mentioned.
Despite these nerves, Barry did not hesitate to accept the invitation to host. “Of course I immediately said yes," she said, “Absolutely, I would clear my schedule… I just, yeah, I was thrilled.”
