## A New Chapter for Cog
After a five-year hiatus from releasing new music, Cog is back and ready to make waves with their latest single, “Walk The Line.” This new track is set to debut on September 26th and is accompanied by an upcoming national tour kicking off in November.
## The Return of Cog
Cog’s journey has been remarkable, marked by chart successes, numerous tours, and two J Award nominations. Their fanbase spans generations and continues to thrive amidst the shifting tides of the music scene.
### Insights into “Walk The Line”
Set to be released on September 26th, “Walk The Line” features vibrant soundscapes, dynamic guitars, powerful drumming, and smooth basslines, all enhanced by Flynn Gower’s commanding vocals. Although the official release date is still a few weeks away, eager fans can get a sneak peek by tuning in to the band’s YouTube channel for exclusive early listening access on September 12th.
## Upcoming Tour Dates

## A Legacy in Heavy Music
Emerging in the late ’90s, Cog has left an indelible mark on the heavy music scene. Their early work, including the 2000 EP and the renowned 2005 album *The New Normal*, established them as a formidable force.
### Touring and Album Releases
Following their electrifying return in 2016 with a sold-out tour, they released *The Middle* in 2018—marking their first new material in a decade. The band’s creative output continued with two singles, “Altered States” and “Drawn Together.” In 2023, they celebrated a major milestone by finally releasing their albums on vinyl after a challenging 15-year wait.
## Looking Forward
Cog has now regained full ownership of their music rights, paving the way for exciting developments in their career. They are set to embark on a significant headline tour in 2024, with many shows already sold out.
“We are incredibly grateful for the ongoing support from our fans. It’s been invaluable, and we hope you love our new music,” the band expressed.
