Akshay Kumar Remembers Katrina While Filming with Disha Patani in Welcome to the Jungle
Akshay Kumar honors Katrina Kaif while unveiling a new teaser from “Welcome to the Jungle.”
Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif have graced the screen together multiple times since the 2000s, delivering fans some unforgettable music. One standout track is “Uncha Lamba Kad” from the 2007 film *Welcome*. This classic is being reimagined for Akshay’s upcoming film *Welcome to the Jungle*, and he shared a brief teaser with a touching message for Katrina.
Akshay’s Heartfelt Message
In the teaser, Akshay and co-star Disha Patani groove to “Uncha Lamba Kad.” As they pass each other, Akshay expresses, ‘We miss you, Katrina!’
The accompanying caption read, “From our hearts to yours! Celebrating 18 years of this timeless favorite. With immense nostalgia, beautiful @DishPatani and I bring you ‘Welcome to the Jungle’… and never forgetting our Queen Katrina ❤️.”
*Welcome to the Jungle*, directed by Ahmed Khan, boasts a star-studded cast of 34 actors, including Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Anil Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Raveena Tandon, and Disha Patani.
The Akshay-Katrina Connection
Recently, Akshay appeared on *Aap Ki Adalat*, where a fan inquired about his favorite heroine. Without hesitation, he replied, “Meri favourite heroine… actually maine sabhi ke saath kaam kiya hua hain. (I have worked with everyone in the industry). Katrina!”
Throughout their careers, Akshay and Katrina have collaborated on eight films, including *Humko Deewana Kar Gaye* (2006), *Namastey London* (2007), *Welcome* (2007), *Singh Is Kinng* (2008), *Blue* (2009), *De Dana Dan* (2009), *Tees Maar Khan* (2010), and *Sooryavanshi* (2021).
Beyond work, Akshay expressed his joy upon learning that Katrina is expecting her first child with Vicky Kaushal, saying, “So totally happy for you, Katrina and Vicky.
