Kartik Aaryan’s Naagzilla Goes on Floors
A video shared on social media shows Kartik, alongside Karan Johar, director Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, and the crew, participating in the ceremonial pooja.
The video features a motion poster highlighting Kartik’s striking shirtless look, complete with a snakeskin-like texture. The clip ends with him saying, “Insaano wali picturein to bahut dekh li. Ab dekho naago wali picture,” which translates to “We have seen plenty of human movies. Now, let us watch one about snakes.”
The accompanying text noted: “We’re not just rolling…we’re slithering into the world of #Naagzilla! Day 1 was filled with laughter, blessings, positivity, and fun! In cinemas August 14, 2026.”
Kartik also shared on Instagram that shooting for Naagzilla has officially started. He posted a joyful photo holding a clapboard with the film’s title.
He made the moment even more poignant by mentioning that it was the first day of filming, coinciding with the one-year anniversary of his previous movie, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. His caption read, “1 Year of #Bhool Bhulaiyaa3 Day 1 of #Naagzilla Har Har Mahadev.”
Naagzilla is set to premiere on cinemas on August 14, 2026. Alongside this film, Kartik Aaryan has another project in the pipeline: an untitled romantic drama directed by Anurag Basu, marking the Bollywood debut of Telugu actress Sreeleela.
Additionally, Kartik will feature in Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri, opposite Ananya Panday, which is also under the banner of Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
