De De Pyaar De 2 trailer: The much-anticipated trailer for Anshul Sharma’s De De Pyaar De 2 has been unveiled. Fans are already feeling nostalgic as the sequel picks up where the first movie left off.
De De Pyaar De 2 trailer
The trailer kicks off with Rakul’s character, Ayesha, revealing to her parents, played by Madhavan and Gautami, that her boyfriend is a tad older and divorced. The parents first appear supportive but quickly become uneasy at the thought of Ajay’s character, Ashish, being a potential son-in-law.
Rakul confesses to Ajay that she hasn’t disclosed his actual age to her parents. They suggest a younger suitor, portrayed by Meezaan, hoping to deter her from marrying Ajay. Nostalgic references to Ajay’s iconic scenes from Phool Aur Kaante and Singham add depth to the trailer, which ends with Ajay humorously asserting that Ayesha won’t easily fall for someone else, accompanied by Lata Mangeshkar’s timeless song, “Buddha Mil Gaya.”
Internet reacts to the trailer
Viewer responses to the trailer varied widely. Some questioned the need for a sequel and expressed fondness for the first film. A Reddit user asked, “What was the need of a sequel?” while another remarked, “Another sequel that will likely fail.”
Conversely, others felt optimistic. Some users commented, “It looks good,” and noted nostalgia for the original, pointing out that the production quality appeared greater in the first film. Others praised the humor, stating, “This looks like a fun watch,” and “I loved the 90s references!”
De De Pyaar De 2 is produced by T-Series Films and Luv Films and is set for a theatrical release on November 14.
