Zareen Khan Responds to Inappropriate Comments on Social Media: “Explain This!”
Zareen Khan addresses vulgar comments on social media: ‘Yeh kya chakkar hai, koi sumjhaao please’
Zareen Khan voices her concerns about inappropriate comments flooding her social media posts, highlighting the pressing issue of online harassment.
Bollywood actress Zareen Khan, who gained fame for her debut alongside Salman Khan in the movie *Veer* (2010), has recently spoken out against vulgar comments directed towards her on social media.
Zareen’s reaction to inappropriate remarks online
On October 14, the actress took to Instagram, calling out the wave of degrading comments that seem to appear under nearly all her posts. In her video message, Zareen expressed her distress about the growing online toxicity.
She commented, “Hello everyone. Is anyone else experiencing this? Every time I post, inappropriate comments flood in. People send emojis and suggestive messages, even saying things like ‘need a boyfriend.’”
Continuing, she lamented that the harassment persists regardless of her content—be it cheerful updates, personal thoughts, or even condolences. “It’s unbelievable how low some comments are; it’s just shocking,” Zareen added.
In her video, she captioned, “Yeh kya chakkar hai… Koi sumjhaao please. Aur kya aap logo ke saath bhi yeh ho raha hai?” (What is the deal, can someone explain? Is this happening to others too?)
The actress’s call to action has resonated with many, as numerous fans voiced their support and shared their own experiences with similar online abuse. One user remarked, “People have lost all sense of decency. They say anything for attention.” Another added, “This happens to everyone; the best response is to ignore and move on.”
