Tool Unveils Exciting Lineup for Major Australian Arena Concerts

Tool has officially announced two shows in Australia, bringing excitement to fans of the legendary metal band. The first performance will take place at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Friday, November 28th, followed by a concert at Perth’s RAC Arena on Tuesday, December 2nd. Both events will feature special guests, the Byron Bay rockers HEADSEND.
Tickets will be available to the general public starting Tuesday, October 7th at 1pm local time. For those eager to secure their spots early, Frontier Member pre-sales will commence on Friday, October 3rd at 1pm local time.
Tool’s Upcoming Concerts and Festival Appearance
These newly announced shows will coincide with Tool’s headline performance at Good Things Festival in December 2025. This marks their first Australian festival headline appearance since the Big Day Out in 2011. Additionally, it will be their first local shows in over five years.
During this tour, Tool will also make a stop in New Zealand, with two performances scheduled in Auckland.
Reflecting on Ozzy Osbourne’s Impact
In a recent conversation, bassist Justin Chancellor shared his experience watching Ozzy Osbourne perform. “I can’t even explain it. There’s a lot to process,” he said. Chancellor reminisced about attending Osbourne’s performance with his family and was moved by Ozzy’s dedication despite his visible struggles.
Chancellor also recalled an emotional backstage encounter. “I saw him in a wheelchair, yet he was still engaging with everyone around him,” he explained. The news of Ozzy’s passing deeply affected him. “I didn’t see it coming. It was incredibly intense and sad, yet also awe-inspiring.”
