## A Mysterious Billboard on Sunset Boulevard
On Monday, an intriguing billboard surfaced above Sunset Boulevard, hinting at a reissue of *Buckingham Nicks*, the 1973 album from Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham. This record marks their only collaboration as a duo before they joined Fleetwood Mac the following year, setting the stage for their legendary careers.
## The Billboard’s Design
Social media quickly buzzed with images of the billboard showcasing the album cover, featuring both artists topless. The cover also highlighted their names, the album title, and the release date of September 19. Located near Sound City Studios in Los Angeles, where the ten-track album was recorded, the billboard is a nod to their musical roots. Since its original release, *Buckingham Nicks* has not seen a reissue in over fifty years.
### Social Media Teasers
Both artists teased the upcoming project last week by sharing lines from their song “Frozen Love” on social platforms. In an Instagram post, Nicks wrote, “And if you go forward…” while Buckingham replied with, “I’ll meet you there.” Together, these lines form the initial part of the song’s chorus, sparking excitement among fans.
## Fleetwood Mac’s 50th Anniversary
The billboard appears just after Fleetwood Mac celebrated its 50th anniversary this month. Mick Fleetwood reminisced about the group’s history, particularly the inclusion of Nicks and Buckingham. He expressed on Instagram, “It’s magic then, it’s magic now. What a thrill, what a thrill.”
### Recent Tensions
Despite this nostalgic moment, the billboard’s appearance was unexpected, especially given the ongoing public feud between Nicks and Buckingham since his departure from the band in 2018. Following his exit, Buckingham underwent open-heart surgery, which unfortunately resulted in vocal cord damage. Meanwhile, Nicks and the rest of Fleetwood Mac continued to tour with new members, Mike Campbell and Neil Finn.
Nicks reflected on her last interaction with Buckingham, which took place at Christine McVie’s memorial. She noted, “The only time I’ve spoken to Lindsey was there, for about three minutes. I dealt with Lindsey for as long as I could. You could not say that I did not give him more than 300 million chances.”
## What do you think about the reissue of *Buckingham Nicks*? Are you excited to hear the music once more?
