The anniversary release comes in several formats: a limited 6LP box set on blood-splattered vinyl, a 2LP, 2CD, and a digital version. It features the original album produced by Ross Robinson, along with a treasure trove of unreleased demos, alternate takes, and early mixes recorded in studios like Indigo Ranch and SR Audio. For the most dedicated fans, Slipknot secretly released 100 vinyl editions filled with blood, selling out almost instantly and causing a temporary crash on their hidden website.

Guitarist Jim Root reflected on their journey, saying, “We loved what we did with the first record, but we didn’t know if there was going to be anything after that. Just getting people to hear it felt like a monumental achievement. Selling out of records and shows was a goal, but living the dream was something we never expected.”

The deluxe reissue also features live recordings from the band’s inaugural world tour. Highlights include a raw performance from the 1999 Hartford show and electrifying sets from the UK and Iowa in 2000.
