Shady Nasty has joined forces with renowned electronic artists Fred again.. and KETTAMA for their latest single, “Air Maxes.” This release includes the original track, an ambient piano ballad, and an upbeat remix titled “Air Maxes (KETTAMA Remix).”
The anticipation for this single has been building for quite some time.
## Live Performances and Industry Recognition
Earlier this year, Shady Nasty and KETTAMA performed at Sydney’s HAZARD Festival in January. In May, Fred again.., known for supporting Aussie artists, spotlighted Shady Nasty during his Twitch stream, showcasing their track “Screwdriva” to a wide audience.
Fred expressed his admiration for Shady Nasty, stating, “This is literally my favourite band in the world right now.” He reminisced about how KETTAMA introduced him to this unique group, comparing his initial experience to discovering The Streets back in the 2000s.

## Band Identity and New Album
Shady Nasty, comprised of Kevin Stathis, Haydn Green, and Luca Watson, is celebrated for its eclectic mix of punk, hip-hop, and experimental sounds. They debuted their album, *Trek*, earlier this year, featuring production by Kim Moyes from The Presets. The trio has been actively touring and previously supported the UK band Shame during their Sydney performance.
Kim Moyes remarked on the band’s unique position in Sydney’s music scene, saying, “It’s a universe that is inspired, oftentimes challenging, and yet somehow always fulfilling.” He highlighted their dedication to developing a distinctive sonic identity paired with a striking visual presence.
