Robert Wun Unveils "Becoming" Collection at Haute Couture Week
Paris witnessed a stunning presentation by Hong Kong designer Robert Wun on Wednesday, marking the third day of Haute Couture Week. His latest collection, named "Becoming," offers a cinematically inspired look into the significant moments in life through the lens of fashion.
A Nostalgic Journey
Wun describes this Autumn/Winter 2025 collection as a "nostalgic exploration" focused on the rituals of dressing. He aims to showcase the integral role fashion plays in life’s most pivotal experiences. "I want to translate the ritual of dressing into a story," he explains. This narrative unfolds from the excitement of waking up on an important day to the memories of what transpired the night before.
The Show’s Dramatic Elements
The venue for this striking show was the Théâtre du Châtelet. It opened with a model portraying an unsettling scene, her mouth smeared with red color and wearing an oversized white dress embellished with sequined handprints—a nod to a chaotic evening.
Following this impact, the collection showcased an array of unique designs, including a dazzling white coat adorned with sequins, structured dresses with distinct bodices, and a flowing violet ensemble featuring artificial arms to elevate the veil.

A Grand Finale
The show reached its climax with a bride in a stunning sand-colored gown showcasing a beautifully sculpted bustier along with an extravagant train. A small figure appeared on her head, supporting her veil, completing the ethereal look.
Robert Wun, born in Hong Kong in 1991, established his label in 2014 and has garnered accolades, including the ANDAM special prize in 2022. His debut at Haute Couture Week in January 2023 marked a significant milestone in his career.
