Reprimo Launches in the US: Exclusive Availability at JD Sports

The men’s activewear brand Reprimo, based in Manchester, is set to launch in the US this month through an exclusive capsule collection at JD Sports. This collection has been crafted based on insights from American consumers and is designed to appeal to both elite athletes and casual wearers alike.
Founded in August 2023 by Tom Jones, a former professional golfer, Reprimo builds on his extensive experience in the athletic and fashion industries. Jones previously helped the streetwear brand Hoodrich expand into 28 international markets. His vision for Reprimo combines high-performance athletic wear with everyday street style, utilizing innovative motion science and sweat-control technology. The collection includes items like sweat-wicking compression tops, worn by UFC fighters, and joggers designed for the latest sneaker releases.
Reprimo’s Entry into the US Market
Reprimo will be available in 30 JD Sports locations across the US, including major cities like Philadelphia, Washington DC, Baltimore, Texas, and New York. This initial launch will expand to 65 stores in the fourth quarter and reach 100 locations by the first quarter of 2026. Additionally, the collection will be accessible online at JDsports.com and Reprimo.com.
Exclusive US Collection Features
The brand has created an exclusive apparel line designed to meet the rising demand for functional compression wear suitable for both workout and everyday use. This approach allows consumers to enjoy performance without compromising style.
Products in the Reprimo US collection include a performance base layer balaclava hoodie, pants, a Cirrus jacket, a flight windbreaker, and a range of t-shirts and joggers. The outfits are thoughtfully designed to coordinate well with popular sneaker releases.

Regarding the expansion into the US market, Jones said, “Reprimo was built on discussions with elite athletes at gyms, addressing their challenges with solutions that others overlooked. Each fabric, fit, and stitch undergoes rigorous testing to ensure durability in high-intensity training environments.”
He added, “Many consumers seek high-performance apparel that doesn’t sacrifice aesthetic. It’s important to feel good during workouts and while transitioning from the gym.”

After successfully launching as a direct-to-consumer brand in the UK, Reprimo is now collaborating with JD Sports to make its mark across the Atlantic. The brand has experienced remarkable growth, reporting a 400% increase in sales year-over-year, and aims to double this growth by 2026.
Matt Roberts, vice president of divisional merchandise at JD Sports USA, commented, “JD is central to youth culture worldwide, and we see Reprimo as a unique player in the market that blends luxury street style with high-performance functionality.”
“In our quest to engage consumers globally, we identified a significant opportunity for Reprimo to stand out in a competitive market by offering something entirely new.”
