Rakhi Sawant has openly come to the defense of Salman Khan, amidst ongoing tensions between him and filmmaker Abhinav Kashyap. The actress has labeled Kashyap a liar and claimed she would throw eggs at him if given the chance.

Rakhi’s Support for Salman Khan

Joining a podcast with Hindi Rush, Rakhi passionately voiced her support for Salman. She stated, “Bhai, dharti pe devta hai wo. Mere liye bahut kiya hai” (He is like a god on earth. He has done a lot for me).

Rakhi recounted how Salman helped her during difficult times, particularly with opportunities on Bigg Boss and financial aid for her mother’s cancer treatment. Turning to Abhinav, she expressed her anger, saying, “Ek kaan kajura hai… tu jidhar bhi mila takle, tujhe chappal se maaroongi” (There’s a bald man who is talking against Salman; wherever I see you, I will hit you with a slipper).

Allegations Against Abhinav Kashyap

In her commentary, Rakhi claimed that Abhinav had behaved improperly on set, leading to his removal. She hinted that he might have received financial support from “Salman ke dushman” to speak ill of the superstar.

She accused him of body-shaming Salman and spreading false information about his family, crying out, “Abhi media mein aakar ganda-ganda bol raha hai” (Now he goes to the media and says disgusting things).

Rakhi emphatically warned that she would throw eggs at him if they ever crossed paths, declaring, “jahan milega, 10 ande marungi” (Wherever I find you, I will throw 10 eggs).

She also urged Salman not to take Abhinav seriously, saying, “Bhai serious mat lo aise logun ko” (Don’t take such people seriously).

The Ongoing Feud

For those unfamiliar, Abhinav Kashyap has long been vocal about his disputes with Salman, claiming excessive credit for the film Dabangg and accusing him of manipulation. This feud escalated when Abhinav recalled difficulties faced by his brother, Anurag Kashyap, during the production of Tere Naam, suggesting Salman made it hard for Anurag.

In a response during Bigg Boss 19, Salman reflected on Abhinav’s accusations, stating, “Mujhe baat buri sirf ek hee cheez lag rahi hai ki apne apne aap ko destroy kar diya” (The most distressing thing is that you are destroying yourself).

Abhinav has since revealed that he is not on speaking terms with Anurag, adding another layer to this ongoing drama.
