He elaborated on the depth of his character, mentioning Bhavani’s multifaceted nature as both a saint and a fighter. The role showcased numerous intriguing aspects, including Bhavani’s martial arts skills, which he used to teach villagers to protect themselves.
The movie features Srabanti Chatterjee in the leading role alongside other talented actors, set against the backdrop of 1770 Bengal. It narrates the story of a village girl transforming into a revolutionary leader under Bhavani’s mentorship, evocative of a Robin Hood figure.
“While this film incorporates commercial elements, it remains authentically Bengali,” Prosenjit clarified.

Chatterjee shared insights into his collaboration with Srabanti. Their on-screen dynamics reflect their off-screen bond, creating an authentic mentor-student relationship. He noted her growth as an actress since their first film together.
