Prabhas’ next epic film Fauzi unveiled on his 46th birthday, promises pre-Independence soldier saga

On Prabhas’s 46th birthday, fans were treated to the first look of his upcoming film Fauzi. Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, this period drama is creating a buzz.

Fauzi’s First Look Unveiled
The teaser poster, released on October 23, showcases an intense close-up of Prabhas. The backdrop includes imagery of weaponry and the British flag, indicating a pre-Independence setting filled with tension.
About Fauzi
In this ambitious project, Prabhas portrays a courageous soldier during tumultuous times. The cast features veteran actors Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, and Jaya Prada, with newcomer Imanvi taking on the female lead. The score for the film is by Vishal Chandrasekhar, and the talented Sudeep Chatterjee serves as the cinematographer.
Set against a 1940s British-India backdrop, Fauzi is a gripping action-drama that intertwines themes of war, soldierhood, and patriotism. Filming has begun in locations like Madurai, with a focus on large-scale sets and period-appropriate production design.
While an official release date is yet to be announced, Fauzi is anticipated to be released in 2026, possibly around Independence Day.
Prabhas’s Latest Work
Most recently, Prabhas appeared in Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD and had a cameo in Vishnu Manchu’s Kannappa, which also featured appearances from Akshay Kumar, Mohan Lal, and Kajal Aggarwal.
Prabhas’s upcoming major release will be Baahubali: The Epic, a re-edited version of the two-part saga Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. This film incorporates upgraded visuals, enhanced sound design, and new sequences, releasing on October 31. Following that, Raja Saab is set to release on January 9 of the following year.
