Paraiso Miami Swim Week Expands: First Dubai Event Set for 2026

Paraiso, the organizer behind the highly anticipated Miami Swim Week, is set to expand its horizons. The platform has announced its first-ever event in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), named Paraiso Dubai, scheduled for October 2026.

This new initiative aims to establish a “commercial bridge” connecting Miami and Dubai, highlighting the luxurious and resort-oriented characteristics that both cities share. The goal is to create a “two-way gateway” between these vibrant markets.

Natalija Dedic-Stojanovic, co-founder of Paraiso, emphasizes that launching this event in Dubai offers global brands the chance to tap into “one of the world’s fastest-growing luxury markets,” while also bringing Middle Eastern talent into the global spotlight.

The debut edition of Paraiso Dubai will feature spring/summer 2027 collections over four days, from October 8 to 11, filled with runway shows, curated pop-ups, and a range of beauty and fashion activities.

Additionally, Paraiso will collaborate with Sand, a Middle Eastern resortwear and swimwear trade show organizer, enhancing the event schedule further. This partnership will bring together buyers and regional as well as international brands like Lisa Marie Fernandez, Oceanus the label, and Charo Ruiz.

Karim Hatab, Sand’s co-founder, describes this collaboration as a “landmark moment” that merges “regional expertise and network with the reputation of the world’s leading swimwear and resortwear platform.”

“Sand has long focused on connecting brands with buyers, but with Paraiso’s runway and lifestyle programming, we can present a comprehensive experience, merging business and culture in one space,” Hatab noted.

Exploring UAE’s Untapped Luxury Market

With the launch of this event, Paraiso intends to build upon its strong foundation in Miami. For over 20 years, the platform has established itself as a leader in the swim and resort industry through Paraiso Miami Swim Week.

As it ventures into the UAE market, Paraiso aims to solidify its position as a key voice in the swimwear and resortwear sector, particularly in a region that is increasingly recognized for its luxurious offerings.

The potential for growth in the Middle East has become increasingly apparent, even amidst a global slowdown in the luxury market. Recent projections suggest that the Middle Eastern personal luxury market, valued at 15 billion dollars in 2023, could reach between 30 and 35 billion dollars by 2030.

The UAE is highlighted as a key player in this growth, benefiting from rising domestic demand, an increase in high-end tourism, and local development initiatives driven by the region’s Vision 2030 strategy.

Stojanovic further emphasized this potential, stating: “Dubai is already a crucial market for resortwear brands. We envision Paraiso Dubai becoming an integral part of the city’s culture, linking global designers to the dynamic MENA consumer base.”
