Oasis Identifies New Talent to Replace Bonehead for Aussie Shows

## Replacement for Bonehead at Oasis Reunion Shows

It’s now confirmed who will take over for Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs during the Oasis reunion concerts in Australia.

Earlier this month, news broke that Bonehead, who is facing prostate cancer, will not be participating in the upcoming leg of the Britpop band’s 2025 reunion tour. In an Instagram statement, he shared that while he has responded positively to treatment and managed to join the first part of the reunion, he will need to step back for further care. This means he will miss performances in Seoul, Tokyo, Melbourne, and Sydney.

Bonehead expressed his disappointment: “I’m really sad to be missing these shows but I’m feeling good and will be back ready to go in time for South America.” He encouraged fans to enjoy the shows in his absence, stating, “Have an amazing time if you’re going this month, and I’ll see you back onstage with the band in November.”

Oasis acknowledged Bonehead’s message on their Instagram Stories, wishing him well with his treatment and looking forward to his return in South America.

## Who Will Replace Bonehead?

Though initially there was uncertainty about who would fill Bonehead’s shoes, it seems that a familiar face to Liam Gallagher will step in. Reports suggest that Mike Moore, who has played in Liam’s solo band, will be the one covering for the Asian and Australian legs of the tour. Over the weekend, he was even spotted at Seoul airport.

Bonehead’s health concerns are not new; he previously stepped back from live shows in 2022 after being diagnosed with tonsillar cancer. Thankfully, after successful treatment, he later announced that scans showed he was cancer-free.
