‘NSync Commemorates 30 Years of Their Unbreakable Bond
The members of ‘NSync celebrated their enduring connection with each other and their fans as they marked their 30th anniversary on October 1.
In a heartfelt post on their official ‘NSync Instagram, Justin Timberlake, Lance Bass, J.C. Chasez, Joey Fatone, and Chris Kirkpatrick expressed their gratitude. They wrote, “Five guys chasing a dream turned into something bigger than we ever imagined. The music. The shows. The memories. An unbreakable bond: with each other, and with all of you. Through every high and low, your love has carried us. Forever grateful.”

October 1 marks ‘NSync’s anniversary, commemorating the day when Lance Bass officially joined the group in 1995. Before his arrival, Timberlake, Chasez, Fatone, and Kirkpatrick had begun their musical journey. Bass’s onboarding followed the departure of the original fifth member, Jason Galasso. Just a few weeks later, the group performed their first live concert at Walt Disney World on October 22, 1995.
Alongside the band’s official message, Bass also shared a personal note on Instagram, featuring a captivating slideshow of their journey. “What an amazing 30 years it’s been,” he stated. “From stadiums to TRL to TikTok — it’s wild to think we’ve grown up with you right there beside us.”

Bass reminisced, “It feels like just yesterday we were learning choreography in an airplane hangar in Orlando, hoping our frosted tips would help us stand out. (They didn’t, but we committed!) … Thank you for riding with us through every era, every outfit, every questionable video. And to my brothers — thank you for the laughs and the memories I’ll never forget.”
‘NSync were active from 1995 until 2004, during which they released four albums and a plethora of era-defining Top 10 hits. While the band remained mostly quiet in the years following their break-up, they reunited in 2023 and 2024 for several live performances, along with a new track titled “Better Place,” featured in the animated film Trolls Band Together.
