Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban End Nearly 20-Year Relationship

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have reportedly ended their relationship after almost twenty years together.
After months of living apart due to demanding work schedules, the 58-year-old actress and the 57-year-old musician decided to part ways. They married in June 2006 and share two daughters.
Sources and Insights
Insiders informed the Daily Mail that Kidman was taken aback by the separation.
One source shared, “Keith never sees Nicole; either she is busy filming or he is on tour. They had a lot of love, and while divorce isn’t certain, they live in separate worlds.”
The Current Situation
“Keith and Nicole have shared many years, and there’s potential for reconciliation, but presently, they don’t function as a couple,” the insider added.
The duo are parents to Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14.
Prior to Urban, Kidman was married to Tom Cruise from 1990 to 2001, during which they adopted two children.
The couple was last seen together in May 2025 at the Academy of Country Music Awards, sharing affectionate moments on the red carpet.
They were spotted again in June at a soccer match in Nashville.
Life Apart
Recently, Kidman has been staying in London while working on a sequel to Practical Magic. She has settled in a Hampstead mansion that once belonged to singer Boy George.
According to Woman’s Day, Kidman has adjusted well to her new surroundings as Urban continues his High and Alive tour across North America, which runs until October.
A source mentioned that they try to stay connected daily, but the time apart has been surprising, especially following the death of Kidman’s mother last September. “It’s as if they’ve both chosen their own paths, with Nicole now enjoying her life in a beautiful home in London,” the source indicated.
Public Comments
In July, Urban left a radio interview abruptly when questioned about Kidman’s more mature roles in films like Babygirl and A Family Affair.
In September 2024, Kidman spoke to E! News about the imperfections in marriage while promoting her Netflix drama The Perfect Couple. She commented, “There’s no perfect anything… If it seems perfect, forget it.”
Earlier in 2024, Kidman reflected on her bond with Urban in an interview with People magazine, expressing, “I’m grateful for Keith, my profound love. He supports my endeavors and gives me a place to return to.”
