Mirai Producer Removes Teja Sajja Film to Honor Pawan Kalyan, Supports OG

Producers Show Support for Pawan Kalyan’s Film OG

To allow Sujeeth’s highly anticipated film “They Call Him OG,” featuring Pawan Kalyan, Emraan Hashmi, and Priyanka Mohan, producers are temporarily withdrawing their films from theaters. The movie will premiere on September 24, 2025, with paid previews that same evening.

In a display of respect for Pawan Kalyan, the producer of “Mirai,” Teja Sajja’s latest film, has decided to take it off the screens initially to ensure “OG” receives maximum exposure.

Adjustment to Theatrical Releases

To prioritize Pawan Kalyan’s “OG,” producer TG Vishwa Prasad has announced the temporary withdrawal of “Mirai” for showings on September 25 and throughout Thursday.

In a tweet, producer SKN conveyed this respectful gesture, stating, “In honor of #PawanKalyan, #Mirai’s producer has decided to allocate screens to #TheyCallHimOG. ‘Mirai’ will return to those screens on September 26.”

“Mirai,” featuring Teja Sajja and Manchu Manoj, had amassed a worldwide collection of ₹140.08 crore within 12 days of its release.

Call for Distributor Support for OG

Producer Bunny Vas also reached out to distributors of “Little Hearts,” expressing a request for cooperation in providing screens for the premieres of “OG.” He emphasized the importance of maximizing support for Pawan Kalyan’s project, highlighting the collective pride in celebrating the Powerstar.

Bunny Vas Entertainments, which distributes “Little Hearts,” reported a global collection of ₹38.25 crore in its first 17 days.

“OG” is directed by Sujeeth and produced by DVV Danayya for DVV Entertainment, featuring a musical score by Thaman S. The film also stars Arjun Das, Sriya Reddy, and Prakash Raj.
