Milestones and Fresh Debuts at LFW Spring/Summer 2026

London Fashion Week is set to launch its spring/summer 2026 season on Thursday, September 18, aiming to herald a new chapter in British fashion. The event will highlight fresh talent like Oscar Ouyang and Joshua Ewusie, alongside established names such as Burberry, Erdem, and Richard Quinn.
This season marks the debut of Laura Weir as the new chief executive of the British Fashion Council. More designers than ever will present their collections on schedule, with an increase of 18 percent. LFW is adopting a “designer-first approach,” emphasizing ambition and creativity deeply rooted in London’s vibrant fashion scene.
Although the official schedule spans from September 18 to 22, off-schedule events initiate tonight, September 17. American designer Jeff Garner will present his sustainable fashion brand Prophetik at the Tower of London, showcasing plant-dye designs while premiering his documentary, ‘Let Them Be Naked,’ which highlights the hidden dangers in clothing materials.
Celebrating Milestones This Season

This season also brings special anniversaries, including Roksanda’s 20th and David Koma’s 15th anniversary celebrations. Patrick McDowell will host a catwalk show just before his 30th birthday.
Fashion East, run by Lulu Kennedy, is also commemorating its 25th anniversary. It will feature emerging designer Jacek Gleba, along with Louis Mayhew’s collection styled with long-time partner Lara McGrath, both making their Fashion East debuts.
To engage with fashion enthusiasts, Fashion East will set up a LFW Hub at the Institute of Contemporary Arts, featuring exhibitions, public panel discussions, and film screenings from September 20 to 21.
Other designers celebrating milestones include Jenn Lenn, marking her 10th anniversary at LFW, showcasing a collection inspired by ‘Dream of the Red Chamber.’ Her presentation promises to blend fashion, performance, and technology for an unforgettable experience.
Rixo will also present its 10th-anniversary collection, incorporating Liberty fabrics and featuring a limited-edition charity T-shirt inspired by 60s and 70s anti-war posters, with proceeds supporting War Child.
The SS26 presentation will kick off a year-long celebration for Rixo, including a branded bus outside the venue showcasing the brand’s journey.
Exciting Newcomers to Discover
This season welcomes newcomers like Oscar Ouyang, who is reshaping knitwear in menswear, joined by Joshua Ewusie’s eponymous label, Aletta, Louther, and Liza Keane, along with jewelry brands The Ouze and Octi.
Debut catwalk and presentation showcases will feature Dreaming Eli, Kseniaschnaider, Kyle Ho, Lucia Safdie, Rory William Docherty, and adaptive fashion label Unhidden.
Indian designer Anamika Khanna will also grace the LFW stage, marking her first appearance in the international arena with her contemporary label AK|OK. Khanna expressed excitement, stating that London embodies fearless creativity born from its rich cultural tapestry.

Additionally, Nanushka will make its LFW debut with a catwalk show on September 22, showcasing a range of womenswear, menswear, and accessories after having previously presented at New York Fashion Week and Budapest’s Central European Fashion Week.
Outside the Traditional Catwalk
While JW Anderson will present a catwalk show for his brand, he’s also directing a unique evening event on September 19. This will celebrate the shift of his signature brand towards lifestyle, focusing on high-quality craftsmanship.
Partnering with Google Pixel, Anderson aims to merge technology, creativity, and fashion through animated product imagery, showcasing his ‘Cabinet of Curiosities’ and outlining his brand’s fresh direction.
The British Fashion Council is excited about this partnership, highlighting the importance of empowering British creativity in an era defined by artificial intelligence, providing designers with the necessary tools for innovation.
The Schedule and Future Highlights
London Fashion Week’s SS26 will take place from September 18 to 22. Key highlights will include Patrick McDowell, the current Queen Elizabeth II Award winner, unveiling his new brand identity aimed at fostering growth and creative exploration. Conner Ives, another BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund winner, is also set to return to the catwalk.
Swedish giant H&M is rejoining the lineup with an updated runway format designed to emphasize its commitment to elevated design.
The on-schedule lineup includes a diverse range of designers such as Bora Aksu, Mithridate, Noon by Noor, and many more, showcasing the breadth of creativity within the fashion industry.
