Kerala State Film Awards 2025 Winners Overview
The 55th Kerala State Film Awards have recently been revealed. Minister for Culture and Films, Saji Cherian, announced the winners at a ceremony in Ramanilayam, Thrissur, with the seven-member jury led by Prakash Raj. Among the notable winners, Mammootty and Shamla Hamza took home acting honors, while “Manjummel Boys” was recognized as the Best Film.
Mammootty’s win marks his seventh Best Actor award, setting a new record in this category. Previously, Mohanlal and Urvashi held six wins each. His past wins include memorable performances in films like “Adiyozhukkukal” and “Mrigaya”.
