Oasis is reassuring romantic couples that it’s perfectly fine to immerse themselves in the spirit of rock and roll, especially after the recent “Coldplay camera” incident that captured public attention.

The misstep involved Andy Byron, the former CEO of tech company Astromer, who was seen in a close embrace with Kristin Cabot, the company’s chief people officer, during a Coldplay concert in Massachusetts last Wednesday.

While addressing fans at Heaton Park in Manchester, Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher remarked, “Do we have any lovebirds in the house? Don’t worry, we won’t have any of that Coldplay camera nonsense.”

He continued, “It doesn’t matter to us who you’re with—mingling or otherwise; it’s none of our business.”

This heartfelt monologue elicited cheers and laughter from the crowd. In the aftermath of Coldplay’s Massachusetts show, Byron resigned from his position at Astronomer, while Pete DeJoy took over as interim CEO.

Astronomer later expressed on LinkedIn, “We are dedicated to the values and culture that have guided us since our inception. Our leaders should exemplify proper conduct and accountability, which recently was not upheld.”
