Lewis Capaldi Announces Extended Tour Dates for Australia and New Zealand

Lewis Capaldi Hints at Exciting Upcoming Australian Tour

Due to overwhelming interest during the pre-sale, Lewis Capaldi has announced an expansion of his upcoming tour in Australia and New Zealand.

Promoter Secret Sounds has added a new date, with Capaldi now scheduled to perform at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Saturday, December 13th.

The beloved Scottish pop artist will be hitting the stage in Christchurch, Auckland, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth this November and December (full dates outlined below).

This marks Capaldi’s first tour in Australasia since his appearances at the Falls Festival in 2019/20 and a solo concert in Auckland in 2019.

Tickets for the 2025 tour will be available to the general public beginning Monday, July 14th at 12 PM local time. A pre-sale by Secret Sounds starts on Friday, July 11th at 11 AM local time. Additionally, former ticket holders from his canceled 2023 tour can access pre-sale tickets on Thursday, July 10th at 11 AM local time, receiving an email with the necessary information.

During a recent TikTok livestream, Capaldi dropped hints about the Australia tour. When asked about plans to tour there, he intriguingly suggested, “I don’t know, maybe just stay tuned, my friend, keep a keen eye on social media, perhaps in the near future.”

Capaldi made a powerful return to Glastonbury last month, gracing the iconic stage two years after his previous performance. During that set in 2023, he faced challenges with his voice and symptoms associated with Tourette’s Syndrome, which he was diagnosed with in 2022. Following this, Capaldi took a break from touring to focus on his well-being.

Back at Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage, he expressed his desire to “finish what I couldn’t finish” the last time. Opening with his hit “Before You Go,” he continued with fan-favorites like “Grace” and “Bruises” from his debut album, Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent. He also introduced a new song, “Survive,” reflecting on the challenges he faced in recent years.

“I’m not going to say much up here today, because if I do, I’ll probably start crying,” Capaldi told the audience. “It’s just amazing to be here with you all, and I can’t thank you enough for coming out and coming to see me. Second time’s the charm on this one.”
