Lambrini Girls Kick Off Their First Australian Tour

Lambrini Girls are set to kick off their first tour in Australia, bringing their impactful political punk sound to several cities including Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Perth from February to March 2026.

The duo, featuring Phoebe Lunny on vocals and guitar, alongside Selin Macieira on bass, is excited to make their Australian debut following the acclaim garnered from their first album, Who Let the Dogs Out.

This announcement comes a year after their debut release, which has received stellar five-star reviews from sources like DORK. Major publications have praised the album, with Classic Rock describing their style as “political, but transgressive, smart, but not pretentious.” Additionally, CLASH rated it 9/10, labeling it “political punk perfection.”

About Lambrini Girls

With over 100 shows under their belt, Lambrini Girls have proven themselves as one of the UK’s most electrifying live performances. They’ve graced stages alongside artists such as Gilla Band, Shame, Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes, and Iggy Pop. Their festival credentials include appearances at Glastonbury and Iceland Airwaves, as well as sold-out headline shows across the UK, US, and Europe.

Album Highlights

Who Let the Dogs Out, produced with Gilla Band’s Daniel Fox and mixed by Seth Manchester (known for his work with Mdou Moctar and Battles), captures their frustrations across eleven tracks that highlight the issues confronting today’s society. The album features standout singles like “Love,” “Big Dick Energy,” “Company Culture,” and the bold “Cuntology 101,” which MusicOMH described as “a take-no-prisoners debut from one of the UK’s most fun and fearless bands.”

Critical Acclaim

The Guardian has noted the band’s importance among new punk acts, saying: “Lambrini Girls are not the first to target class inequality, misogyny, racism, and police issues, but they may be the most vibrant and exciting to emerge alongside their tourmates, IDLES.”
