During the Los Angeles leg of Playboi Carti’s Antagonist Tour, fans were treated to an unforgettable surprise as Kendrick Lamar joined him on stage. The two artists performed their track “Good Credit,” featured on Carti’s latest album.

Carti shared on Instagram that bringing Lamar to LA felt like a special moment. Earlier this year, Carti also surprised fans during Lamar and SZA’s Grand National Tour, delivering a live version of “Good Credit” in Atlanta.

Playboi Carti’s New Album

Carti’s album, titled Music, released in March as a follow-up to 2020’s Whole Lotta Red. This new project boasts an impressive list of 30 tracks, featuring collaborations with notable artists like Lamar, The Weeknd, and Future. Besides “Good Credit,” the duo also worked together on two other tracks, “Mojo Jojo” and “Backd00r,” but “Good Credit” shines as a standout performance piece.

Kendrick Lamar’s Recent Performances

Lamar’s surprise appearances are a trend, as he recently joined Clipse on stage in Los Angeles to perform “Chains & Whips” from their album Let God Sort Em Out. Lamar expressed his excitement, saying, “This is our home city; it’s such a privilege to be in front of motherfucking legends, man.”

As Lamar continues his Grand National Tour with four final shows in Melbourne and Sydney this December, Carti is just getting into his groove. His Antagonist Tour commenced on October 3, with upcoming performances scheduled in cities like Phoenix, Las Vegas, and Denver before wrapping up with a finale concert in Atlanta’s State Farm Arena.
