KBC 17 Contestant Stumbles on Ramayan Question: Can You Answer?
The episode where a contestant struggled with a question about the Hindu epic Ramayana aired on October 1.
In a recent episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 17, a contestant faced a challenging question related to the Ramayana. This moment left the participant bewildered and prompted them to request a hint from host Amitabh Bachchan.
The Ramayana Question That Stumped the Contestant
In the episode aired on October 1, contestant Shraddha was unable to answer a question on the Ramayana, which was worth ₹7.5 lakh. The exact question was:
According to the Valmiki Ramayana, who did Lord Rama send as a messenger to Sugreeva to remind him of his promise to search for Goddess Sita?
The options were: A. Lord Hanuman, B. Lakshman, C. Angad, and D. Bharat.
Shraddha had been playing confidently until this point but became uncertain. To resolve her doubt, she used a lifeline for a hint, which indicated that the individual in question had accompanied Lord Ram into exile. Shraddha answered Lakshman, winning ₹7.5 lakh.
She later progressed to the ₹25 lakh question but opted to quit after the 13th round, taking home ₹12.50 lakh.
In the Ramayana, Sugreeva had forgotten his promise made to Lord Rama after becoming king. He was neglecting his duties and refused to leave his palace. Consequently, Lakshman decided to remind him of his commitment. Eventually, Sugreeva fulfilled his promise and initiated the search for Goddess Sita.
