What were your favorite moments from this year’s Durga Puja celebrations?
On Vijayadashami, Kajol celebrated at the North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja pandal in Mumbai alongside Bengali actress Rituparna Sengupta. The two stars applied vermillion to each other and enjoyed their time posing for the waiting photographers.
In a delightful video shared online, Kajol can be seen applying sindoor on Rituparna, who then reciprocated the gesture. Kajol adorned a stunning red and white saree for the occasion, while Rituparna choose a vibrant yellow and red saree.
Kajol was also spotted enjoying the festivities with her daughter, Nysa Devgn. They posed together for the cameras, and Nysa looked beautiful in a saffron suit. Kajol’s sister Tanishaa Mukerji joined them, dressed elegantly in a red saree.
Kajol has been a regular at the pandal, meeting and interacting with various celebrities, including Jaya Bachchan and Rani Mukerji. Recently, her husband, Ajay Devgn, joined them for the celebration, dressed in traditional attire.
Currently, Kajol is busy with her talk show “Two Much with Kajol.” The show, which features her engaging discussions with Twinkle Khanna, premiered on September 25. She is also set to appear in “The Trial: Pyaar Kaanoon Dhokha” season 2 and “Maharagni: Queen of Queens.”
Durga Puja is an annual celebration that honors Goddess Durga, symbolizing her victory over the buffalo demon Mahishasura. The festivities culminate in Vijayadashami, marking the goddess’s triumphant return to her celestial abode.
