Jimin Cleans Up 2-Year-Old Mirror Graffiti as J-Hope Encourages Him
Jimin from BTS has recently bid goodbye to a cherished piece of mirror graffiti he created before starting his required military service. On October 28, he shared an update on his Instagram account, which boasts 55.4 million followers. The 2-year-old artwork, crafted in HYBE’s practice room, features vibrant colors and was made during a playful moment with fellow member V. Surprisingly, the piece remained untouched until now.
Goodbye to a Creative Legacy
Jimin’s drawing included elements like a halo, joined hands in a bow, uplifting messages, and seven purple hearts. It gained considerable attention, with J-Hope even showcasing the artwork thriving during BTS’s hiatus. Jimin’s decision to clear the graffiti marked the end of a memorable chapter.
Heartfelt Moments Shared
In his post, Jimin remarked, “Deleting (removing) the graffiti after 2 years.” As he wiped the mirror, he expressed how the task was not easy. After finishing, he promised to dedicate himself more in the studio. J-Hope humorously commented, “I need to use the practice room now, so please clean it up thoroughly,” adding a playful touch to the moment.
Messages of Love for Fans
The mirror held some sweet messages, like “I’ll be back,” accompanied by a cute human illustration. Jimin and V wrote heartfelt notes saying, “Don’t worry. I’ll [We’ll] catch you soon,” and wished fans health and happiness during their 2-year break for military duties.
This graffiti was not just art but a symbol of connection, often appearing in livestreams and videos, and bringing smiles to fans’ faces as they admired the playful spirit of the duo.
