Howlin’ Country Unveils Exciting 2026 Lineup Featuring Lainey Wilson

The Howlin’ Country music festival is set to return in 2026, showcasing an impressive array of both local and international artists.
Headlining the festival on Saturday, February 14, at the Newcastle Foreshore is none other than Lainey Wilson, making her highly-anticipated debut performance in the picturesque Hunter Valley.
In addition, Morgan Evans, hailing from Newcastle, will also be taking the stage for his first hometown performance since 2023. He’ll be joined by fellow local talents Adam Newling and Tyla Rodrigues.
Evans burst onto the country music scene in 2018 with his self-titled EP, featuring hits like “Kiss Somebody,” which has received platinum certification, and “Day Drunk,” recognized with a gold certification.
Also on the lineup is the Texan group Flatland Cavalry, who have garnered over 500 million global streams. They’ve shared the stage with renowned artists such as Luke Combs and Willie Nelson.
Completing the initial artist roster is Kaitlin Butts, an Oklahoman artist riding high from the success of her 2024 album Roadrunner! She’s known for delivering high-energy performances that keep audiences engaged.
Moe Matthew, the promoter of Howlin’ Country, emphasized the festival’s dedication to uplifting local musicians and businesses. He remarked, “It’s great to have Howlin’ back for another year. From day one, our focus has been on supporting our local music scene.”
He further added, “Featuring Adam Newling and Morgan Evans this year truly embodies the spirit of Howlin’. We still have a few more artists to announce, but it’s looking like a wonderful family-friendly event in an amazing city.”
Pre-sale ticket registration is currently open, with tickets available for purchase on Tuesday, August 12, at 1 PM.
