Gut Health Unveils New Single “Beat to Beat” – Listen Now!

Australian dance-punk ensemble Gut Health has unveiled a new single titled “Beat to Beat.” This marks their first release since the debut album Stiletto, which came out in 2024.

The song was initially conceived as a jam during a band retreat in the Otways in mid-2024. Throughout the year, it evolved through live performances at their front-bar shows in Naarm/Melbourne. The track was ultimately recorded to tape at Newmarket Studio with producer Nao Anzai and was mixed by Portland engineer Evan Mersky using a 24-track reel-to-reel tape machine, a technique reminiscent of their work on Stiletto.

Accompanying the single is a music video directed by Felix Addset, filmed at his innovative performance and installation venue, Quality Studios in Abbotsford.

Currently, Gut Health is on tour in Europe and the UK, featuring headline shows and festival appearances such as Reeperbahn, Misty Fields, and Nox Orae. After wrapping up their international dates, they will return to Australia for a series of regional shows across Victoria and New South Wales, where they will perform “Beat to Beat” along with other new material.

The Australian leg of the tour kicks off on Saturday, October 18th, at the Theatre Royal in Castlemaine, VIC. Following that, they will perform at Bellingen Brewery in Bellingen, NSW on Thursday, October 23rd. The Sydney audience can catch them at the Oxford Arts Factory Bar on Friday, October 24th, and the tour will conclude at Archie’s Creek Hotel in Archie’s Creek, VIC on Saturday, November 1st.
