Artist Esther Ng drew inspiration from Tampines’ recognition as one of Singapore’s pioneering eco-towns. Her installation showcases the district’s lush greenery and extensive cycling paths, featuring a design that pays tribute to a famous mural in the neighborhood.
According to Tan Swee Leng, the People’s Association’s director of arts & culture, “The Giant Delight SG60 Edition continues to expand across the island, with many of these installations already visible in local neighborhoods while others will be unveiled in the coming weeks.”
“Every Giant Delight exemplifies the spirit of co-creation, transforming shared memories into vibrant works of art, thanks to the collaboration between neighbors and artists.”
