Online influencer Dhruv Rathee has recently initiated a debate regarding Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan. In a video posted on X (formerly Twitter), he discussed claims surrounding SRK’s wealth, which is estimated at a staggering $1.4 billion (around ₹12,400 crore).
In his video, Rathee expressed bafflement over SRK’s decision to endorse a paan masala brand. He stated, “Shah Rukh Khan ab ek billionaire ban chuke hai… unki net worth $1.4 billion pohach chuki hai… isko imagine kar pana bhi mushkil hai.” Rathee challenged the necessity behind endorsing harmful products when such vast wealth exists.
Furthermore, he reflected on the interest SRK might accrue from his fortune, speculating on his lifestyle expenses, including luxury properties and travel.
Despite recognizing that a lavish lifestyle could still leave SRK affluent, Rathee asked, “Mera Shah Rukh Khan se sawaal yeh hai, kya itne paise kaafi nahi hai kya?” He challenged the necessity to promote a product with potential health risks.
Rathee implored SRK to reconsider his endorsements: “Do you actually need this extra ₹100–200 crore? Look within yourself and question the use of such wealth.”
He urged followers to spread his message, hoping it would reach Shah Rukh. Currently, the actor is engaged in filming for Siddharth Anand’s project “King,” alongside a star-studded cast, including Suhana Khan and Deepika Padukone.
