Desigual and Botter Team Up for Exciting ‘High Tides’ Capsule Collection
Desigual Collaborates with Botter for Unique Capsule Collection
Desigual is honouring its heritage while exploring innovative design concepts through a partnership with Dutch brand Botter. This collaboration has resulted in a special capsule collection, which made its debut exclusively for members of the Desigual Club.
Launch Strategy and Exclusive Access
Initially announced in July, the collection was set to launch on August 26. However, Desigual introduced a phased rollout. The first phase started on August 19, granting exclusive early access to Desigual Club members, while the full collection is available to all customers starting August 28.
A Vision Rooted in Culture
The collection, named “High Tides,” marks the first collaboration between Desigual and the Dutch design duo Lisi Herrebrugh and Rushemy Botter. Known for their leadership at Nina Ricci, they also head their own fashion house, Botter, which has been active since 2017. The designers take inspiration from their Caribbean and Mediterranean cultural backgrounds, using water as a key motif.
“High Tides” intertwines Botter’s Caribbean essence with Desigual’s Mediterranean vibe, where water symbolically unites us despite geographical divides. Desigual describes the collection as a cultural exchange, where disparate elements merge to create a vibrant and cohesive narrative.

Visual Appeal and Sustainable Practices
The “High Tides” collection features an ocean-inspired color palette with varying shades of blue, accented by black, grey, and vibrant sunset yellows. Illustrations include marine life, emphasizing a commitment to sustainability through the use of recycled materials.

The collection includes various key unisex items such as tops, dresses, and jeans adorned with marine-inspired prints. Unique pieces include a sequined dress showcasing a dolphin and a white striped shirt featuring an “I Love Barcelona” motif.
Challenging Fashion Norms
Desigual underscores that the collection challenges traditional fashion norms, inviting exploration and reinterpretation of styles. This unisex approach integrates varied cuts and innovative silhouettes, marrying raw textures with a distinctive DIY aesthetic.
