His father, Daboo Mallik, recently shared his thoughts during a Weekend ka Var episode, which deeply affected both him and Amaal. Daboo expressed his concerns, stating, “The negativity surrounding us has been overwhelming. We never considered ourselves celebrities; we are just ordinary musicians. Yet, the immense fallout shows just how influential Bigg Boss is. The language I’ve encountered is something I have never experienced. At my age, I cannot tolerate such abuse.”

Father’s Perspective on Amaal’s Popularity

He further elaborated, “I feel targeted for how I raised Amaal. My parenting is under scrutiny, and I am inundated with hurtful remarks. Watching the beginning episodes shocked me; the portrayal was not what I anticipated. I was excited for Amaal’s rise, thinking he would gain popularity through his music. However, I realized a psychological shift occurs in the house, affecting behavior and actions.”

Amaal has been a prominently discussed contestant both on and off the show. Notably, host Salman Khan faced accusations of bias for not addressing a fight Amaal had with Abhishek Bajaj. Previously, Amaal’s brother Armaan criticized the show’s team on X (formerly Twitter) for the negative portrayal of Amaal in promos, although he later deleted his post.
