Coldplay Concert Kiss Cam Catches CEO Andy Byron and HR Head, Fuels Affair Rumors

On July 16, a Coldplay concert in Foxborough, Massachusetts, turned into an unexpected drama for two attendees.

During the performance, Chris Martin, the lead vocalist of Coldplay, decided to engage the crowd using the ‘kiss cam’. However, the moment took a surprising twist.

The camera focused on Andy Byron, the CEO of software development firm Astronomer, and Kristin Cabot, the head of HR at the same company, who were sharing a close moment.

Martin remarked from the stage, “Oh, look at these two.”

In an instant, the couple appeared flustered, with Byron diving behind a barrier and Cabot hiding her face with her hands.

The crowd burst into laughter as Martin quipped, “Oh what… either they’re having an affair or they’re very shy.”

Curiously, it seems to lean towards the former, as Byron is reportedly married, while Cabot is said to be divorced.

Footage of this embarrassing incident quickly spread across social media, especially on X and TikTok, where memes and jokes flourished alongside widespread misinformation.

A notably viral post on X, amassing 4.6 million views, falsely claimed to feature an apology from Byron, stating: “I am a Coldplay fan. And not just of the first two albums. I also like the recent stuff.”

What do you think about how social media magnifies moments like these?
