The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) has unveiled the initial schedule for New York Fashion Week (NYFW) for the Spring/Summer 2026 season, which will take place from September 11 to 16 across New York City.
NYFW this September is set to host over 60 runway shows and designer showcases, with a number of collections also being displayed digitally and by appointment.
Michael Kors will officially open the event at 11 AM on September 11, followed by showcases from Lafayette 148 and Norma Kamali, along with runway presentations from Christian Siriano and Collina Strada.
First-time participants this season include 6397, Amir Taghi, Dwarmis, Lii, Maria McManus, Nardos, Raúl Peñaranda, Rùadh, and SC103. Furthermore, the 2025 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalists—Ashlyn, Bach Mai, Bernard James, Don’t Let Disco, Gabe Gordon, Heirlome, Jamie Okuma, and Meruert Tolegen—will have special activations throughout the week.

Additional established designers like Altuzarra, Area, Bevza, Calvin Klein Collection, Campillo, and many others will be part of the lineup. Noteworthy brands returning include Alexander Wang, along with international names such as Off-White, Toteme, and Cos.

Notably absent from this season are Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, and Carolina Herrera. Carolina Herrera will instead showcase its SS26 collection in Madrid, Spain, on September 18, marking a significant departure from NYFW, as it is the brand’s first main collection show outside this notable event.
Joseph Maglieri, the CFDA’s director of fashion week initiatives, remarked, “The collections this September exemplify the resilience and dynamism of the city through a global lens.”
He continued, “With exciting returns to the calendar, international brands, and a new wave of emerging talent, New York Fashion Week remains a crucial venue for creativity and storytelling that embodies American fashion’s spirit.”
