BTS’ V Discusses Sleep Challenges After Military Service

BTS member V surprised fans with a live chat on Weverse on July 5. Still in bed during the early morning session, he expressed how much he missed the BTS ARMY. V candidly shared insights about his sleep habits and the effects of his military service.

Adjustment After Military Discharge

V, also known as Kim Taehyung, completed his military service on June 10 and is currently engaged in his first solo agenda in France. Scheduled to attend Paris Fashion Week on July 6 as a Celine brand ambassador, he shared an amusing incident. After an early wake-up due to noise, he struggled to fall back asleep.

During this broadcast, V voiced concerns about his irregular sleep pattern. He recounted how even the minimal noise from housekeeping disrupted his rest. “I used to fall asleep easily,” V noted, reflecting on how his military training might have contributed to this newfound sensitivity to noise. “Just someone cleaning can wake me up now.”

Fans React to V’s Sleep Struggles

This revelation sheds light on the significant mental and physical effects of intense military training. Fans were taken aback, as V was previously known for his ability to sleep without issue. It reminded many of a humorous remark made by BTS leader RM about V’s infamous sleep habits.

RM’s Humorous Take on V’s Sleep

During a 2021 interview, RM humorously claimed that V slept with his eyes open, to which V sassily responded, “Yeah!” We all hope that V can regain his peaceful sleep soon and find comfort post-military life.
