Briggs Opens Up About His Latest Track, "BIG NOTER"

## Briggs Unveils New Single from BIG NOTER

Briggs has debuted the latest track from his hardcore project, BIG NOTER. Following the release of “Identity” in April, this Yorta Yorta artist and hip-hop pioneer presents the bold single “Talk Straight.”

### A Raw Insight

The track is produced by Nick Didia, known for his work with Rage Against the Machine and Pearl Jam. Briggs shared a sentiment on social media, stating, “This one’s for anyone sick of the bullshit. Built to hit.”

### National Tour Kicks Off

This release coincides with the start of a national tour alongside Karnivool, which kicks off in Hobart and concludes in Perth.

## Embracing Hardcore Roots

BIG NOTER features a full live band, tapping into Briggs’ hardcore, punk, and metal influences. He mentioned, “People might be surprised, but this is where I’m most at home — this is the sound I was raised on.”

### Notable Collaborations

Briggs has shared the stage with hip-hop icons like Ice Cube and Ghostface Killah. However, BIG NOTER made waves recently when they opened for Tom Morello, a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, during his Australian tour.

After a successful European tour with Amyl & The Sniffers, Briggs and his band are now back in Australia. Their first-ever headline show at the Northcote Social Club this August sold out quickly. They will also support thrash legends Suicidal Tendencies on their upcoming Australian tour in October.

### The Live Band Lineup

The live band consists of Briggs (vocals), Steve Smith (drums), Leigh Davies (guitar), and Craig Strain (bass).
