Blake Lively’s On-Set Behavior Compared to Justin Baldoni’s Agent’s ‘Extortion’
Claims of “extortion” arise from Justin Baldoni’s former agent regarding Blake Lively’s actions.
According to court documents reported by Page Six, Blake Lively’s conduct during the filming of *It Ends With Us* has been described by Justin Baldoni’s former agent, Danny Greenberg, as akin to “extortion.” Greenberg, who was Baldoni’s representative during the 2024 film’s production, reportedly sent Baldoni draft correspondence to Sony in July 2024 about Lively’s attempts to exert control over the film.
In his deposition, Greenberg clarified that the term “extortion” was used to describe Baldoni’s and his production company, Wayfarer Studios’ response to Lively’s cumulative behavior that needed to be managed.
Additionally, Greenberg stated he had “ongoing discussions” with Sony’s executive Ange Giannetti about Lively’s actions. He indicated that issues related to the film’s premiere were being addressed, noting that Baldoni was sent to a basement to avoid Lively when they attended the New York premiere in August 2024.
A spokesperson for Lively responded, stating, “The court already dismissed their so-called ‘taking over a movie’ claim, and this cherry-picked deposition quote adds nothing significant.” The spokesperson highlighted that the court even considered their allegations true for the sake of argument but found no valid legal claim.
The representative further emphasized that this was merely a distraction that detracted from the serious nature of the sexual harassment claims against Baldoni and the Wayfare defendants.
Conflicts between Lively and Baldoni initially came to light when they did not promote *It Ends With Us* together, avoiding joint appearances at the film’s premiere.
Lively’s Sexual Harassment Claim
In December 2024, Lively formally accused Baldoni of sexual harassment, claiming he showed her inappropriate content, discussed his past porn addiction, and made negative remarks about her appearance. Subsequently, she filed a lawsuit reiterating these allegations.
Legal Counteractions
In response, Baldoni’s attorneys categorically denied the allegations, labeling them as “outrageous” and intended to tarnish his reputation. They revealed that he engaged a crisis manager to handle Lively’s alleged demands and threats.
Baldoni’s $400 Million Lawsuit
Baldoni later initiated a $400 million lawsuit against Lively and her husband, alleging that they used their influence to pressure him and that Reynolds had been aggressive, demanding an apology for Lively.
This case was dismissed in June, but Lively and Baldoni are gearing up to face each other in court again in March 2026.
