Apoorva Lakhia Clears Up Amitabh Bachchan’s Role in Battle of Galwan

Recently, Amitabh Bachchan visited the sets of *Battle of Galwan* in Mumbai’s Film City, which led to much speculation regarding his role in the project. Director Apoorva Lakhia, however, has set the record straight by stating that the legendary actor is not part of the film.
After sharing images of their encounter, director Lakhia noted, “He was actually filming a commercial in the adjacent studio, and I just went over to say hello.” The director emphasized that there is no involvement of Bachchan in the actual film.
Speculation intensified around the possibility of a cameo or a significant role due to the excitement generated from the photos shared online. However, Lakhia confirmed there was no such engagement announced yet.
In related news, actress Chitrangada Singh is set to join the second schedule of *Battle of Galwan* in Mumbai. The film aims to portray the 2020 clash between Indian and Chinese troops, with Salman Khan playing an Army officer.
