Actor Adivi Sesh Reflects on a Memorable Diwali of Diyas and Light
For Adivi Sesh, Diwali is a cherished occasion, marked by a memorable celebration in his first home.
This year, actor Adivi Sesh finds himself working on the festival of Diwali. Despite being on set for his upcoming film, *Dacoit*, in Hyderabad, he reminisces about a Diwali that holds a special place in his heart.
Growing up in California, Adivi, now 40, returned to India in 2011. While he has always enjoyed Diwali, one particular celebration in 2016 stands out as unforgettable.
“I had just bought my home and the first Diwali came right after I settled in. It was a heartwarming experience,” Adivi shares, recalling his emotions during that time.
He describes the day: “The house was empty and spacious, allowing me to fill it with nearly 200 diyas all by myself. That achievement made it feel extra special. At that moment, I envisioned my parents possibly moving back from the States, picturing which room they might occupy.” It truly was a beautiful memory for him.
Currently, he is also focusing on the action scenes of *Dacoit* while recovering from an injury. However, he doesn’t plan to miss the Diwali festivities entirely.
“I’m looking forward to lighting diyas with my parents in the evening. Given that we have our pets, Beera and Bagheera, we won’t be bursting crackers this year. We’ll keep it simple with a puja at home,” he adds.
