Thornhill Unveils Their Largest Tour Across Australia
Thornhill has officially revealed their most extensive Australian headline tour to date, coinciding with the release of their latest album, BODIES.
The metalcore group from Melbourne is set to perform in five cities throughout February 2026. They will be joined by talented acts including American vocalist Amira Elfeky, Japanese metalcore band Paledusk, and the local group Heavensgate.
Success of BODIES
BODIES debuted at number four on the ARIA Top Albums Chart, marking a significant achievement for the band.
In a statement, Thornhill expressed their enthusiasm: “This is our first Australian headline tour since the album’s release. We’ve dedicated ourselves to making these shows unforgettable. These are the largest gigs we’ve done solo, with a lineup that feels uniquely special to us. Fans can expect an electrifying atmosphere that truly represents where Thornhill is right now.”
Upcoming Collaborations and Past Releases
Earlier this month, Thornhill was announced as support for Sleep Token’s upcoming arena tour in the US, starting in September.
BODIES, released in April, is Thornhill’s third studio album, following their 2022 release, Heroine, which reached number three on the ARIA Albums Chart. This album signifies a shift towards a more raw and immediate sound.
“‘BODIES’ marks a significant evolution in our ever-changing sound,” Thornhill stated. “While ‘Heroine’ was crafted with great precision, that careful construction sometimes dulled the music’s energy, leaving some listeners feeling distant. With ‘BODIES’, we opted for a more spontaneous and unfiltered vibe that aims to capture Thornhill’s current energy.”
